Everyone knows that lighting is one of the most important ingredients to a photograph. With this simple technique you will be able to use explosions to lighten up your subject matter in screenshots and be able to remove the explosion leaving it’s light behind.
When you find the frame you want to capture, do the following:
- Open up the film controls by pressing the “X” button.
- Begin to record a film clip.
- Promptly stop recording the film clip.
- Discard the film clip.
- Admire your explosion free screenshot.
Result:
You can freely move around and the explosion will remain gone until you advance to a new frame. I have not gotten a chance to experiment with different light sources, but I do know it will work with the Spartan Laser and Gravity Hammer.
